Making Tough Decisions: Are You Sabotaging Your Own Success In Small Business?

Small Business Marketing Tactics That Work

How do you know if the decisions you make will be the right ones?

What if success was right around the corner, but you chose to take a different path?

Is there any way of knowing what could have been?

Bent Business MarketingRecently, I’ve been reflecting back on the life changing decisions I have made. When I left the military in hopes of securing a more stable life for my family, I was persuaded by thoughts, or ideas, that never actually came true. I was motivated by a dream, and propelled by a passion to become more self-reliant.

As of this writing, my reality has fallen way short of my targeted goal. I’ve realized that not everything in life comes instantly.

You have to work towards your dream, and you have to believe in yourself.

But sometimes it’s hard.

I am a huge pessimist.

When the going gets tough, I tend to make it tougher.

I am slowly making changes in my behavior that have helped me realize that life is full of ebbs and flows, high points and low points.

My pessimistic way of thinking will surely be the death of my business. If I don’t start surrounding myself with the company of positive thinking individuals, I will drive my venture into extinction.

The power of positive surroundings is amazing!

I know many small business owners wonder if the decision to jump ship, and become an entrepreneur, was a smart one.

They ask themselves the same questions that I did at the beginning of this post.

While I don’t have all the answers, the one thing that has helped me, was reading about other individuals failed attempts at business.

It’s always comforting, and motivating, when I read about a strong business man/woman, and how much they sacrificed just to break through. Their situations often mirror that of my own, and in a weird way, this comforts me.

I find a way to harness their strength, and continue on my inevitable path to greatness!

You may be the type of person that’s never bothered by the small things, and you may succeed in life much faster than I will. But, I will succeed, and in doing so, I will become a better person.

Not just based on my increased wealth, but my trials and hardships will callous my skin, and soon I will be able to walk through fire!

I wish all of you the best of luck in all of your future endeavors.

I want to wrap up this short post with one of my favorite quotes:

“Trust yourself. Create the kind of life you will be happy to live with all your life. Make the most of yourself

by fanning the tiny, inner sparks of possibility into flames of achievement.”
