Hotel_Icon_Has_Email copyEmail Tip #1: When replying back and forth to an email, always change the subject line to reflect the actual subject of its contents. Too many important messages are lost in the mass of emails reflecting the exact same subject line.

For example: What if an email is sent to me from Jill, and then I reply but also include the date and time of an important meeting. Then we go back and forth via email (all with the same subject line) and accumulate over fifteen messages in the span of a day.

Now what do you think will happen to that email with the important info for our meeting’s time and place?

It gets lost and potentially forgotten!

I’m a big fan of changing the subject line when replying to a message. I can’t say that I do it 100% of the time, but this little trick has saved my butt more times than I can count.

Try it! ~Andy #themarketingguy
